Isadora saw the great beast swooping through the sky, and without even pausing to pack her bedroll or grab her bag of supplies, she seized Rudolph's hand and sprinted toward the shelter of the cool, inviting forest. Tripping over his own feet, Rudolph ran behind her, feeling the heat emanating from the dragon's skin. The air was hazy, full of dust stirred up by the continuous wing-beats of the dragon.
